I wanted to share with you a little bit about why we developed our summer checking out program.
For me, it was because of my trainees.
Throughout the years of teaching in my personal knowing center, moms and dads would bring their children to me that lagged in reading and spelling.

In some cases they were simply a bit behind, often they were method behind, and in some cases reading program with spelling and phonics Pasadena - TX state they were at grade level and just wished to progress faster.
Often this was because the students had discovering difficulties like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was just due to the fact that the instructors did not teach all of the specific abilities required to read.

How could I get these students' abilities up while not simply supplying a band-aid solution?
Conventional tutors typically just work on research. Unfortunately, this does not address the source of trainees' problems and does not actually get their abilities up.

I discovered that mentor through our senses (hearing, seeing, and doing) enhanced their reading and spelling abilities quicker. It did not matter if they had learning obstacles or if they were just simply aiming to advance quicker.
I put together a program of these findings into short 5-20 minute everyday activities that I could do with my trainees.
It wasn't long before my trainees and moms and dads began seeing significant results. Trainees that lagged by 1-2 years typically got up to grade level in 2-4 months.
Teachers started to ask what I was doing with these kids. Parents would like to know what the magic sauce was.
I understood I had to make my program offered to more students no matter where they live. I required to make the program in a way that moms and dads can do it with their kids on their schedule in your home.
This is why I developed the summer season reading program.

The program does take some participation from a parent for grades K-2, but for grades 3-8, many kids can do most activities in the program by themselves.
